The Rhodes Memorial is a popular site on Cape Town that memorializes Cecil Rhodes. Rhodes was a Brit who was big deal in southern Africa. He founded DeBeers, the country of Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe and Zambia) was named after him as was Rhodes University in South Africa. They love him.
